Ancient & Modern
History of Theosophy in
The Divine Plan Study Group
1993 - 96
Started
in 1993 and meeting every Wednesday evening at
The
basis for study was Geoffrey Barborka’s “The Divine Plan” which provided both a
detailed insight into Theosophy for the more experienced participants and a
good lead-in to Thesosophical principles for those who had never studied
Theosophy before.
The
idea for using The Divine Plan came about as the result of a search for a book
that was more advanced than an introductory text but easier to study than the
Secret Doctrine directly.
During
the 3 year period of the study group, several participants presented symposia
on material studied.
